SYNOPSIS

QuickGamma is a tiny tray application that lets you quickly set the display
gamma of your primary display.

INSTALLING

Copy QuickGamma.exe (or create a shortcut) to the "Startup" directory in the
Program Files directory under the Start menu.

USAGE

Restart your machine or double-click QuickGamma.exe to start it up. A small Q/G
icon will appear in the taskbar tray.

Left-clicking the icon will bring up the gamma slider. It allows you to set the
gamma of your display between 0.1 and 3.0.

Double-clicking the icon will reset the display gamma to the last set value. Use
this after playing a game or other program that doesn't correctly reset the
gamma.

Right-clicking brings up a menu with two options:

About QuickGamma...
Exit

They pretty much do what they say.

KNOWN ISSUES

There are no settings stored or retrieved. This is intentional, as a
(potentially) complex gamma ramp cannot be distilled into a single value.

Scrubbing the gamma slider back and forth several times causes WinAmp3 to crash.
It will not start up again until you have quit QuickGamma.

It was developed and tested on Windows 2000. It should work on Windows 95, 98,
Me, 2000 and XP. It will not work on Windows NT, as it lacks a crucial function.

It may or may not work with multiple monitors.
